As Democratic special interest organizations are pouring money into South Carolina ahead of next year’s busy election season, it is critical that conservatives stay engaged in the fight.
The two highest-profile races in our state next year are Governor Nikki Haley’s reelection bid against re-run Obama-lite state Senator Vincent Sheheen, and U.S. Senator Tim Scott’s run for the last two years of Jim DeMint’s unfinished term in the United States Senate.
Democrats are salivating at the possibility of toppling either one of these South Carolina conservatives, and that’s a risk we cannot afford to take.
That’s why Governor Nikki Haley joined me on “Common Cents” Thursday afternoon. We had a great conversation about the great steps forward our state has taken under solid conservative policies and principles, and the pathway forward.
I support Governor Haley as she takes the first steps toward a full-bore reelection effort, and understand the importance of keeping South Carolina the most solidly red state in the south.
Take a listen to my conversation with the Governor from Thursday, and stay tuned to “Common Cents” in the weeks and months ahead as we lead the charge to preserve South Carolina’s culture of faith, family, freedom and free-enterprise.
Yours in the fight,
