Christmas 2011

[LISTEN TO THE DECEMBER 22nd SHOW ARCHIVE]

Dear Friends,

All of us can appreciate how difficult these past three years of a dreadful economy have been. Businesses and individuals from every sector in our state are struggling to make ends meet, and to find a pathway to a promising tomorrow. During this Holiday Season, however, it is important that we watch out for a neighbor in need. A sure fire way to recount the blessings of our own lives is to remember children who do not know where their next meal will come from, or where they will spend the night.

More government programs aren’t the answer for these kids, but private businesses and individuals coming together to help organizations like the Connie Maxwell Children’s Home is. If big government programs have proven anything it’s that, as a surrogate parent, the state is a colossal failure. One-size fits all “solutions,” divorced from spiritual concepts, aren’t enough to make a meaningful difference for these precious children.

That’s why I’m asking you to join me in becoming a Children’s Champion this Christmas, by making a tax-deductible donation to my friends at the Connie Maxwell Children’s Home today. Just follow the link, below, to join the movement to give children a firm foundation for the future. Together, we can make a difference. After all, isn’t that what Americans always do?

Merry Christmas, God Bless You, and God Bless America,

– Josh Kimbrell
